The Flat Head FN-OJ-D101C is a Blue 1940s-model denim jacket made from 14.5oz left-hand twill Zimbabwe cotton. Woven on vintage shuttle looms, the cloth has a pronounced twill line and is designed to develop strong vertical fading with wear. This Real Aging version is processed individually by hand, using bleaching, overdyeing and shaving to recreate the varied fade, creasing and worn appearance of a long-used denim jacket.
The jacket is one-washed and finished with iron buttons, original copper rivets and a cowhide leather patch. Its main seams use rolled construction with two-needle chain stitching, a method chosen for strength and flexibility in areas such as the armholes. The hardware is aged along with the denim, so the duller finish sits naturally alongside the faded Blue cloth. FN-OJ-D101C brings a detailed, workwear-rooted character to the 1940s jacket format without relying on a uniform wash.
